NEED PLACE to stay while visiting mom in nursing home in Clearlake, California For Sale

husband and I would like to do a creative living situation/work exchange or some such situation so we can have a place to sleep for a few weeks while visiting my mother in nursing home. then later perhaps find a place to rent long term. computer repairs, pool and spa maintainance. need to be near delray beach fla and later alachua florida.
